Let us build your centerpiece.
Tell us what you're imagining — the look, the size, and story behind it. We'll partner with you and craft a unique piece for you.
From your idea to your counter.
Tell us what you have in mind
Share the rough shape of it — how you cook, the woods you love, the occasion. A few sentences is plenty; we'll ask the right questions.
We talk it through
We'll reply personally to talk through wood, dimensions, and price, and sketch a direction together. You'll have a clear quote before we start.
We craft your board
Once the design is settled, it goes on the bench. You'll get a realistic timeline up front, and we'll keep you posted as it moves.
Start the conversation.
No commitment yet — this just opens the conversation. Every message comes straight to us and gets a personal reply, usually within a couple of days.

Commission questions
How much does a commissioned board cost?
Every commission is quoted individually once we've talked through wood, size, and details.
How long does a commission take?
Depending on the piece and our production schedule, we will provide a projected timeline. For most boards, it will range from 3–6 weeks to completion.
Can you engrave it?
Yes — engraving, juice grooves, handles, feet. Tell us what you're thinking in the form and we'll price it with the rest.
What if I don't know exactly what I want?
Our best advice would be to think about (and measure if possible) the kitchen environment for the board, and how large of a piece you prefer, in both surface area and weight. For aesthetics, we recommend checking current & past work and see what styling stands out to you.
What we can build in.
A few of the details we can work into a commission. Nothing here is a fixed menu — if you have something else in mind, ask.
Handles
Recessed grips routed into the ends, or a shallow scoop along the side. Either makes a heavy board easy to lift.
Juice groove
A channel routed inside the border catches what runs off a roast. Leave it off for a flat prep surface.
Feet
Feet lift the board off the counter so air moves underneath and it dries evenly on both faces.
Engraving
Engraving goes on the vertical side edge, in the corner — visible when the board is standing, out of the way of the cutting surface.
