Lumber Selection
We hand-pick premium hardwood for stability, grain pattern, and color contrast. Each plank is flattened and cut into clean sections.

Milling & Assembly
Pieces are arranged for contrast and flow, glued into a long-grain panel, then sliced crosswise and flipped — end grain up. That's where the durability comes from. The mosaic gets laid out, glued again, and clamped into its final shape.

Sanding & Detailing
We flatten the board, round the edges, and add the details — juice grooves, handles, whatever the board calls for. Six to eight sanding passes on every surface until it's perfectly smooth.

Finish
Hydrated with warmed oil, then sealed with multiple coats of our Jack Wax blend — food-safe beeswax, made in-house. Smooth, water-resistant, and ready for your kitchen.
