Walleye Walnut
Walleye Walnut is an end-grain walnut board with a hypnotic, underwater feel—like ripples moving across a dark lake at dusk. The grain is sliced and arranged to create flowing “current” lines, and right at the center there’s that unmistakable fish-eye feature that gave this piece its name: a little wink from the wood that you can’t unsee (and won’t want to).
Built for real kitchen work, the end-grain surface has that subtle give under your blade, helping your knife edge stay happier over time while the board holds up to daily chopping. It’s equal parts functional tool and countertop art—ready for prep, ready for serving, and absolutely ready to be the thing people ask about before they even notice the food.

A block like this deserves a good rub.
Jack Wax is our food-safe beeswax blend. A regular rub (every few uses or every few weeks) keeps your board fresh and hydrated. For heavy duty users, consider our Jack Pack.
The Wooded Difference
We don't just glue wood together — we study it. How the grain flows. Where the contrasts emerge. How nature's hidden patterns can come together into something that belongs in your kitchen for decades.
Every piece is arranged for visual harmony — we hand-pick the grain pattern for each board. End-grain construction is durable and easy on knives.
Every board's grain pattern is one of a kind. We hand-pick visually compelling hardwood lumber and carefully arrange the natural grain patterns to make a board inspired by nature's contrasts.
Fewer joints, superior stability, and less visual interruption. We build from thicker, handpicked, top-shelf hardwood, sourced in New England.
Our boards are crafted on Cape with heirloom quality for a more durable board.
Cared for, a Wooded board outlasts everything else in your kitchen.
